The jubilant volunteers took to the water and waved to the spectators at 3:30 PM, in preparation for the Duck Drop scheduled at 4:00.

The Kayaking Duck Herders get last minute instructions and position themselves just in time for the drop.

Who knew Rubber Ducks couldn't fly; almost everyone. Look out below!!!

The Duck Herders hurry in, to make sure the poor things are okay and try to encourage them to swim downstream.

After 20 minutes of unsuccessful encouragement, the kayakers where forced to take matters into their own hands and give the poor stunned and confused ducks a lift to the finish line.

At the conclusion of the race, the happy kaykaying volunteers filled their kayaks with the defeated ducks and escorted them back to the starting line, where they were washed off, and packed away until they are called to race another day, on another river, for another good cause.

Cutter Aquatics, the Girl Scouts, and the Ducks would like to thank all of the volunteers for their help with another successful Duck Day on the Trinity.
