Guided Kayak and Canoe Trips | Since 2004 Cutter Aquatics has been guiding kayaking and canoeing trips across Texas and around the world. Paddle Bound Outfitters is now leading the Texas trips and Cutter Aquatics is taking paddling trips farther afield. Our successful sea kayaking adventures to Greece and New Zealand have been incredibly popular. Look for future trips to Alaska, the coast of Maine, the U.S./Canadian Boundary Waters and Scotland. We guide trips closer to home, too, in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. There is lots of water still to explore.
Check out our Trip Reports about places we have been and view the Photos we'd like to share. You will see some examples of what you can experience with us!
Check our schedule page to see if the tour you like is currently scheduled. Contact us to find out more about any activity. No previous paddling experience is required for most of our trips. We provide safety instruction and plenty of supervision.

August 1 - 5, 2010
|
Ask any Cutter Aquatics customer: "What do we do best?" The answer will be: We have GREAT fun kayaking and canoeing; we take VERY good care of you; we have the BEST food! So we are heading off to Washington State in August 2010 in search of adventurous kayaking in the San Juan Islands. The narrow channels between the main islands are among the best places in the San Juan Islands to experience sea kayaking with porpoise, and the seals are a lot of fun too! Eagles, Peregrine falcons, and a variety of sea birds are commonly seen. We will depart from the Seattle/Tacoma airport on Sunday, August 1 for our hotel in Anacortes, WA. The next morning we launch our our fully outfitted kayaks for densely forested Cypress Island and its protect marine environment -- two nights of wilderness camping and three days of kayaking. Time permitting we will also paddle to Sinclair Island. Great food, knowledgeable guides, and top notch equipment are at your disposal, making this one of the premier sea kayaking experiences in Washington State. All levels of paddlers are welcome. We return to Anacortes on August 4 and then travel to overnight accommodations at SEA-TAC. Make your plane reservations to return home on or after August 5. Air transportation is on your own, but everything else is included.
