Join our multi-adventure trip to Scotland in May 2011. We depart from Glasgow to head north towards the rugged western coast of Scotland and the Inner Hebrides. We will settle into accommodations in Arisaig to explore some of the best sea kayaking destinations in Scotland -- appropriate for novice to advanced paddlers. We'll visit coastal fishing villages, remote and deserted white sand beaches and craggy islands jutting out of the crystal blue sea. We plan to hike on scenic tracks of National Trust land, picnic on lochs and photograph wildlife. Next we're off to Oban and the famous whiskey distillery and more kayaking. We'll finish with a night in Edinburgh and a visit to the castle. You may go with us back to Glasgow or extend your vacation on your own. Click here for more trip details.

Explore the Maine Island Trail - the coastal waterway that connects 190 private and public islands and mainland sites for day visits and overnight camping. Greek Islands Sea Kayaking Adventure |

Kayak in the Greek Islands in September 2011.The Greek Islands are one of the best locations in Europe for sea kayaking. The water is turquoise blue, crystal clear and delightfully warm. Based on the island of Poros our unique and exclusive adventure journey will feature sea kayaking excursions that vary in length and distance. It is for all levels of kayakers. Paddling days will alternate with days of other tours and activities. Bicycling, snorkeling, walking and cultural outings are also included. The trip fee includes accommodations in private apartments, gourmet meals, kayak instruction and equipment and Greek cooking and language lessons. Enjoy group parties and cultural events. Majestic cypress trees stand in the temperate waters of Caddo Lake, Texas’s only natural lake. In cool fall weather the stately trees are draped in silvery Spanish moss and are inhabited by an amazing collection of birds and wildlife. We explore hidden islands and navigate through the lush environment. Early risers are enchanted with a sunrise paddle on the bayou. This trip is appropriate for canoes and kayaks. Beginning through advanced paddlers are welcome. We'll provide boats if you need them and, of course, our Silver Platter gourmet meals highlight the weekend. This popular fall trip is a learning experience in a wilderness setting. Learn to pack a kayak for Leave No Trace wilderness camping; learn Level 2 and Level 3 Sea Kayaking Skills; learn about the unique geology of the region as we explore the shoreline, islands, and pristine waters of the largest manmade lake within Arkansas's borders. Lake Ouachita is surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest and is known for its scenic natural beauty and the clarity of its waters. The paddling distances are a bit longer on this trip than some of our others. Participants should know basic strokes, assisted rescues and have some day trip experience.
