It has been the pleasure of Cutter Aquatics to deliver kayaking and canoeing instruction programs throughout North Texas. Our high quality product, resolute dependability, devoted customer service, professional certified instructors and exceptional safety practices made us the premier provider of recreational kayaking and canoeing instruction in the state. Barbara Cutter began teaching canoeing to Girl Scouts in 1991 and started a few summer kayaking classes in 2001. In 2004 she asked Chris Gross, a fellow paddling instructor, to join her when she hung her internet shingle and reached out to teach some college and municipal programs. For five years our cadre of professional instructors and our fleet of kayaks delivered year round programming to hundreds of customers discovering a new sport, improving paddling abilities and applying their skills to explore new environments on our trips across Texas and the world. The business burgeoned. In March 2009, to have more time to travel and develop out of state and international paddling trips, Barbara sold the successful instruction program and business system to Paddle Bound River Outfitters.
